Emergency First Response Instructor
Emergency First Response Instructor training is open to anyone who can meet the prerequisites. Emergency First Response Instructors may conduct Emergency First Response courses for anyone who wants or needs adult, child and infant CPR and first aid training, including basic emergency medical care knowledge and skills. The Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care course meets the first aid and CPR prerequisites for PADI courses such as PADI Rescue Diver, PADI Divemaster and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Emergency First Response Instructors may earn additional credentials to gain authorization to teach other Emergency First Response programs such as certain regional courses that meet regulatory first aid requirements for those in the workplace. Additional training or qualifications may be required to earn these credentials.

1. Have completed a sanctioned course in adult and child/infant CPR within the past 24 months.
